This is a 100% compatible with SpartaDOS X and SpartaDOS 3.2 drive that allows you to connect it to the SIO chain.  Tired of some byzantine way to get stuff to your Atari?  Use this!  Connects just like any disk drive for the Atari (from back in the day) and works right out of the box.  

3.5" floppy drive can use 720K 3.5" disks  It comes with a pre-formatted, version of SpartaDOS3.2G

It's is even in a re-purposed 1050 case that has been re-painted and re-badged to look like an officially released disk drive!

It comes in either fully assembled & tested form or in Do It Yourself form!  (Fully assembled models may take up to ten business days prior to shipping)

For the DIY kits: The BOM and all parts are included.  Drive was tested prior to shipping in a known working unit.  DIY kits are non-returnable, obviously.  BOM is included.  Also, you should get a can of Rust-Oleum Painter’s Touch 2X Ultra Cover Satin: Heirloom White if you wish to paint the case (a 1035 label IS included). We estimate 5-7 hours to fully assemble and test the unit.  This does not include painting time.
