The CV-NUC+: A ColecoVision Clone that fits in the palm of your hand!
MyTek is at it again: CV-NUC+
This time he has created a ColecoVision clone that not only plays 99% of all ColecoVision games (including home-brews), but also only takes up a small space on your desk! All accessories and controllers made for the regular ColecoVision work AND it's got Super Game Module compatibility built in!
We will be offering this in FOUR styles:
The complete units are BUILD TO ORDER ITEMS. IT will take 30-45 **Business** days to build, test, and ship. Delays can (and probably will) happen. If this is not acceptable, please do not order. Cancellations will be subject to penalty.
Complete, tested, assembled into a case with a built-in keypad: This is a plug and play version. All you need is a standard Atari/Commodore/TI (Any one that works with TI, Atari or C64 should work fine. We also have them available HERE) A/V cable and a controller (any Atari or Coleco standard one will do!) and play away. Includes a 3d printed case.
Complete, tested, assembled into a case with a built-in keypad AND an F18A VGA adapter installed : This is a plug and play version. All you need is a standard Atari/Commodore/TI (Any one that works with TI, Atari or C64 should work fine. We also have them available HERE) A/V cable **OR** a standard VGA cable AND the 5 pin din for audio AS WELL AS a controller (any Atari standard one will do!) and play away. Includes a 3d printed case. The back plane of the 3D case has been modified to put the VGA connector on the back.
Complete, tested, assembled into a case WITHOUT a built-in keypad: This is a plug and play version. All you need is a standard Atari/Commodore/TI (Any one that works with TI, Atari or C64 should work fine. We also have them available HERE) A/V cable and a controller (any ColecoVision standard one will do!) and play away. Includes a 3d printed case.
DIY with all hard to find/programmable chips All chips will be programmed (where necessary) AND soldered to the board (SMD) or soldered into their sockets (DIP). No case included (see note below of what is included in this option)
DIY-Bare Boards: All four boards (Main, MSX, Quad, & Keypad) bare as the day they were manufactured in beautiful blue!
DIY-ATF1500A-10JU & Socket: This chip is fairly easy to find, BUT it requires a VERY special (and expensive) programmer in order to flash it. SO, for those DIY folks that want to do everything else themselves, but don't want to buy a programmer just for this chip, here you go.
Case only: This is just the 3D printed case with all screws and insets. Also, includes both lid types (hole for keypad and no hole) Grey is the default color. If you want a different color, contact us for costs and availability.
Finally, although we have some of these built in advance, demand will require that we build to order. That means there will be 10-15 business days for building.
Hey, why don't we let the expert tell you himself (from MyTek's website):
CV-NUC+ Miniature ColecoVision Game Console
The CV-NUC+ is the most compact ColecoVision Video Game System Clone ever produced that's still based upon some of the original chips made back in the day, while using many of the CMOS counterparts to minimize heat and power consumption. Its primary focus was portability and to take up the minimum amount of desktop space, while still recreating the original plug-in game cartridge experience.
