Atari Lynx Diagnostic Cartridge Reproduction

NOTA Bene:  I can no longer guarantee these will work on the Analogue Pocket.  They should, but Eye of the Beholder just crashes out.  I have a message into Analogue about but no guarantees.  Starting 01 Feb 2026, if you purchase it for your Analogue Pocket and it doesn't work, they will be a 25% re-stocking fee deducted from any refund.

This is a little diagnostic program out of Atari Japan (or so it says) to help you figure out some problems with your Lynx. I he power on screen and menu say "Lynx II" but it works just fine on a Lynx I.  The cartridge tests the following:

System 

LCD

Joystick (tests all the buttons)

Speaker

Stereo

Comlynx (this is "X"d out)  As much as I would like to tell you that if you buy two of these, you could test out ComLynx . . . that does not appear to work.  I tried.  Maybe I am not doing something, but I do have 30 years experience of powering on Lynxes correctly to get Comlynx to work. ;-)

Also, if you press Option 2, it will tell you how your power is configured and what revision of Mikey you have!
